Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has shut down state financial incentives for a Nike plant in west Phoenix after the Chinese-sweatshop-supplied shoemaker cancelled the release of their 4th of July themed sneaker, the Air Max 1 USA, featuring the “racist” symbol of Betsy Ross’s 13 stars American flag
Former NFL benchwarmer and knee-taker Colin Kaepernick notified Nike that the design could be construed as racist by some. To whom he is referring, I have no idea, but I typically don’t hang out with martyrs. But after last year’s “Just Do It” 30th Anniversary Campaign, it’s clear he’s become the company race advisor.
In a bunch of rapid fire tweets, Governor Ducey went against Nike and their weak-willed back-down against serial complainer Kaepernick, saying they “decided that Betsy Ross is unworthy, and has bowed to the current onslaught of political correctness and historical revisionism”.
“It is a shameful retreat for the company. American businesses should be proud of our country’s history, not abandoning it.”

It’s unclear whether the Nike plant will still be built in West Phoenix or elsewhere.
As a note to those who get offended by a collection of stars and stripes, maybe you should stay home on the 4th. The triggers will be everywhere, and you never know when the star-spangled banner might start bumping from a stereo. Please spare us normies from having to see your mental breakdown.
A big bright shiny gold star for Governor Ducey. He earned it by standing his ground on behalf of patriots everywhere.
