Let me rephrase. Madonna just put out another music video!
This one, titled “God Control” suggests we “need gun control now”, which isn’t very subtle, but I watched the video anyway.
Through depictions of a nightclub with a gunman firing upon the crowd, this graphic video appears meant to shock viewers into agreeing with the Material Girl’s Insane World view.
“Gun violence disproportionately affects children, teenagers and the marginalized in our communities. Honor the victims and demand GUN CONTROL. NOW. Volunteer, stand up, donate, reach out. Wake up and insist on common-sense gun safety legislation. Innocent lives depend on it.”
Yikes, could you imagine her if she lived outside of the 80s?
In fact, her video was in such poor taste that Emma González, one of the March for Our Lives kiddos, denounced it.

What’s also interesting is that back in 1995, when Madonna was first considered outdated, an intruder attempted to jump over the wall at Madonna’s home in Hollywood.
He was shot by her security guards.
