Equinox and SoulCycle owner Stephen Ross will be hosting a fundraiser for President Trump, and now he deserves to live in destitution! Nothing new in the world of celebrity mafia politics.
SoulCycle, an indoor cycling chain, and Equinox, a luxury fitness club, are the targets for the latest celebrity boycott, including names like Chrissy Teigen and Billy Eichner, presumably for virtue signaling purposes.
“Hey @Equinox — what’s your policy for canceling memberships once a member finds out your owner is enabling racism and mass murder?” Eichner chirped to the other chirpers.
Hey @Equinox – what’s your policy for canceling memberships once a member finds out your owner is enabling racism and mass murder?

“Money talks, especially with these monsters. If it’s too inconvenient for u to trade one LUXURY GYM for another, then you should be ashamed. (No disrespect to the many wonderful employees at my local Equinox). Bye!”, he followed.
He later added: “There are a handful of billionaires who own everything and many support Trump. Practically speaking, it’s probably impossible to completely avoid them. But considering @Equinox’s clientele and how they’ve pandered to us, this one feels particularly hypocritical and shameful.”
Chrissy Teigen has asked that people join her for a workout at the library. God knows how long its been since she’s walked into one of those.
everyone who cancels their equinox and soul cycle memberships, meet me at the library. bring weights

I certainly hope they never find out he owns the Miami Dolphins. There will be less people in the stands than usual!
The LA Times has used words like “glitzy” and “mega” to describe the fundraiser, as if the size of it was the real issue for some of these people.
The gyms have responded with a statement of tolerance and equality, a language usually not understood by the left.

Sadly, this doesn’t appear to hold sway for the cultish left. As long as all their twitter followers know what an accepting, tolerant epicurean they are, they’ll sleep easy.
I’ll leave you with a guy who I hope never finds out who ‘’progressive’ Nike typically donates to:
It’s important @equinox know WHY we’re going to cancel our membership. This fundraiser and it’s ties to Stephen Ross, is a betrayal to our communities after masquerading as a corporate ally during #Pride. You can’t use us to make money and then use it to work against us. No. https://t.co/CFZhBmGdaV
