Chris Mathews: Another victim of Trumps curse
The only surgical mask that out of touch liberal celebrities need to wear to prevent catching the Trump curse is one that would seal their mouth shut. One that would prevent them from bashing the president. The latest liberal celeb to catch the Trump curse is Chris Mathews. Did he not learn from celebs like Kathy Griffin, Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch, Lena Dunham, Adam Rippon, Debrah Messing, Alyssa Milano and so many more? They all paid a price for going after Trump. The latest victim, Chris Mathews who has bashed Trump relentlessly for years. He has called Trump a homophobe, a racist, a Islamaphobe, a womanizer, and the list goes on. He could never provide factual evidence that would back up his claims though. However, like a typical liberal, Mathew’s past of irony has finally caught up to him and exposed him for the hypocrite that he is.
Mathews has had to resign from MSNBC’s Hardball after a series of insensitive remarks regarding Jewish Bernie Sanders and comparing his win in Nevada to a Nazi invasion. Now author Laura Bassett said Mathews made inappropriate sexual remarks to her back in 2017 and confirmed that the news channel had issued a settlement in her recent GQ article. Now according to sources at Fox news, many more women are coming forward after Bassett made her story public. His troubles resurfaced after going after Elizabeth Warren in an interview after one of the debates. In that interview, Mathews questioned Warren for believing a women who accused Mike Bloomberg of telling her to “kill it” in a reference to the female employee telling Bloomberg she was pregnant and his retort that she should abort. He has also slammed socialism on his show which put him in a bad light with the network for going after Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren whom they openly support and promote. Not a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you.
Ironic that Mathews has always referred to Trump as racist and a womanizer and now we see who is the true racist and womanizer. We can now add another arrogant celeb casualty to the list of those who caught the Trump curse.
